Directors at Towergate Risk Solutions in
Kettering, Peter Robinson and Tim Newman, agreed to “wait” on staff
on Friday, 3rd October, in order to raise funds for
Jeans for Genes Day 2008. Tim popped on his best pinny and
commented “Even a ‘grumpy old man’ can multi-task
occasionally!”
Peter and Tim made tea and coffee for staff
during the morning whilst the staff donated homemade cakes.
There was also an auction of donated items, with the alcohol
generating some hectic bidding. A grand total of £165.00 was
raised.
Proceeds will fund research into serious and
often life-threatening genetic disorders that affect thousands of
children.
