I am pleased to announce that ‘the big, the
balds and the oldie’ survived their 10k Marine Commando Challenge
on Sunday 11th October 2009!
And it was a challenge to say the least - running uphill, wading
through thick mud, being submerged in muddy water and finding our
way through pitch black tunnels before finally collapsing at the
finish line!
We would like to thank all of those who
sponsored us for this event - it certainly made it worthwhile
knowing that we were raising money for such a great cause. The
running total so far is £2485 which the Towergate Charitable
Foundation will match; bringing the grand total to £4970. This is
an absolutely fantastic result so thank you to all who
contributed!
