On 31st October 2008, we had a ‘thriller’ of a day at
Towergate Shrewsbury. The staff got in to the ‘spirit’ of things,
and as well as ‘raising the dead’, we also raised money for our
local Severn Hospice.

As well as fancy dress for the day, we had a number of games,
including a trick or treat game, a mystery ‘what’s in the box?’
game and a staff phobia quiz. There were also Halloween cakes &
treats on sale throughout the day and we were very ‘fangful’ for
the effort and all donations that were made.
All in all, we raised a total of £120.01
which, with Towergate fund matching, means a ‘monster’ total of
£240.02 for Seven Hospice.
