On the 11th March 2009, Nicola Cornish, one of TRS
Sevenoaks’ Insurance Executives, reached for the sky and raised
£600 for ChildLine.
Nicola said: “It was absolutely incredible and I’m so pleased I
have managed to raise this money which will all be used to train
additional counsellors at ChildLine’s centre in London’s Folgate
St.”
Nicola jumped at Headcorn Aerodrome. Her reason for doing it was
sparked by the death of Baby P in whose memory this money has been
raised. Nicola added: “I have written about this on my fundraising
page www.justgiving.com/nicolacornish2.
I needed to channel my anger and upset in doing something to help
children in such awful situations and having read the Childline
statistics relating to the number of calls going unanswered I
really felt I wanted to do my bit to help.”
