Less = More with Payroll Giving
At Towergate all of our employees have the option to join
Payroll Giving. The scheme enables employees to make regular
donations to the UK registered charity of their choice. Payroll
Giving has been a big success within the business and in 2012
Towergate was presented with a Bronze Payroll Giving Quality
Mark Award in recognition of the number of employees
participating in the scheme.
Payroll Giving is a simple and tax efficient way to support
charity. All donations made are deducted from the employee’s gross
salary and passed directly to the charity. This means that the
charity benefits from receiving the donation plus
the tax and they have the security of a regular income stream,
which allows them to plan effectively for their future
projects.
