Less = More with Payroll Giving
Our staff have the option to pay monthly or one off donations
which are deducted from the gross salary and paid to
any UK registered charity of their choice.
Towergate matches donations to Partner
charities. Towergate has been awarded the Bronze Award in 2010 from the
Institute of fund raising to recognise the effectiveness of Payroll
Giving by our staff.
The charity receives the donation plus the tax
e.g. a £1 donation would mean the Charity receives £1.25 for
standard rate tax payers and £1.66 for higher rate tax payers.
The minimum net monthly donation is £1. Our staff simply
complete the Towergate Payroll Giving
form. Our staff can calculate how much more
their favourite charity will receive from Payroll
Giving by using the Payroll Giving table.

What our Staff Say
"I had been donating to my designated charity for many years via
direct debit and decided to switch over to donating via payroll as
I simply recognised that the charity would get more out of my
donation if I paid that way." Craig Provan - Fusion
Glasgow
"I prefer to use the payroll facility essentially for ease of
administration. There is also the psychological aspect of the
donation being deducted from my gross salary so I don't think of it
as a monthly outgoing (on the basis of what you never had, you
never miss)." Robert Calderwood - Towergate
Leeds
"I found it very easy to do. It took me 5 minutes to complete a
form and Towergate did everything else." Julian Palmer -
Towergate Maidstone
