Helping you to help good causes with Gift Aid
Gift Aid can be claimed on all fund raising activity that
results in a pure donation being made. The person making the
donation must be a private individual who pay UK tax and must not
gain a reward, receive a product, service or chance of winning
something:
For example, Gift Aid can be claimed on donations made by
private individuals as part of their personal insurance payment.
Gift Aid can not be claimed from the proceeds of cake sales,
raffles or sweepstakes.
The Gift Aid form must be sent to the Towergate Charitable
Foundation (TCF) at the same time as paying them the donation. TCF
claim Gift Aid by submitting the Gift Aid form to HMRC. TCF pay the
Gift Aid to the Charities we support after it is received from
HMRC.
You only need to complete the Gift Aid form once. This will
enable TCF to collect Gift Aid on any charitable donations you make
to us, each year, until you tell us not to. If you paid a donation
to TCF and have not returned to us then please complete
the Gift Aid form.
